Paragliding Over A Spectacular View in Bali (VLOG)

‘Wooww.. wooww.. and wooww!’ I think i screamed that word for more than a dozen time during my 15 mins of paragliding session. Not to mention the loudest ‘WOOOOWW’ when i first took off from the high cliff. Haha. It’s just so hilarious when i played back the video.

Paragliding in Bali was an impromptu decision. I thought this round of trip to Bali will be full of work and relax, nothing on raising adrenaline kind of activities. But i was wrong, i worked for a very adventurous couple who asked me for paragliding on the next day. I was shocked myself. Asking the couple a few times if they are sure to do that kind of exhausting activity right after their wedding day. and they were like, ‘Yeap! Why not?’

Well, apparently the couple have some international guests whom they want to entertain. So, since they are already in Bali, the couple wants them to experience something that they country may not have. But in the end,  the couple decided to go for paragliding on the day after their party. I was like, ‘That’s more like it.. you both need some rest after 1 whole hectic day. Haha’

And finally the day has come! It’s Paragliding time! It’s located at Uluwatu, they name their basecamp as Nyang Nyang Paragliding. So, we are paragliding over a spectacular view of Nyang Nyang Beach, one of the most difficult private beach to reach. Why so? Because you need to hike down about 20-30 mins from the basecamp just to reach the beach. But the beach is indeed pretty, and quite. Perfect place to relax, read some book or do some yoga, OR propose someone there! i think that would be memorable. hahaha.

Anyway, it has been a while for me doing such raising-adrenaline-kind-of-thing. Guess my last heart-pumping activity was rappelling down Jomblang Cave in Jogjakarta, Indonesia back in February 2017. and i am so glad that i end 2017 with this super memorable experience.

Paragliding in Bali might not be your number one destination in this island of God. Since most of us may prefer cafe hopping, or sunbathing, or rave party! Yeap, tried Saga 2017 at GWK last month. My very first rave party since i dont know how long. haha. But apparently i miss doing this kind of adventurous thing, and i think you should try it too sometimes.

By the way, This Nyang Nyang Paragliding is super safe. They always check when is the perfect time to fly, since paragliding depends much on the wind. All pilots are highly experienced and International Licensed, all gears are legit, and they have the the great team-work to make us fly and land safely. Plus, the ammount that we paid is already come with IDR 250 million of personal insurance coverage as well.

They have different price though between Indonesian and Foreigners. The last time that we went, they charged Rp 900,000 (SGD 90) for Indonesian and Rp 1,500,000 (SGD 150) for foreigners. *But since the foreigners were with the indonesians, we tried to bargain for them, and finally they gave us some discounts for them to fly. Yeayy.. hehe.

Anyway, below is my Paragliding VLOG, hope it gets you the feeling of flying as well. hehe.. Btw, the first take off was super scary yet exciting, but after that the beauty of Nyang Nyang beach paid it all. Enjoy! ❤

Giant Swing in Ubud, Bali

Happy new year, everyone! Hope your new year has been aca-awesome this far! #pitchperfectfever haha

It was still fresh in my mind how i started my first day in 2017. Woke up late after new year’s eve celebration, and decided to went out for early dinner. That time my brother just bought a new car and asked me to drive cause he was still very sleepy. I told him that im not good at parking. And he was like, ‘you can’. Anddd, i ended up my first day of 2017 by stratching my bro’s car so badly.. grazing it against the rough wall. #goshhh.. luckily it was still under insurance.. since then, my bro and my dad never asked me again to park their car in that ‘letter L’ position in my house. Hahaha.

So, It has been 2 days of 2018 and ive spent it smoothly.. pray that the rest of 2018 will be as smooth and even smoother! *Amen!

Anywayy, i spent most of my December in Bali, one of the most beautiful island in Indonesia. I had some MC gigs to do, and some collaboration to work on. And it felt so good, when you can do things that you love and get the chance to travel too!

And on this trip, i got to try the Giant Swing in Ubud! Well, actually we found this place by accident. Haha

We initially wanted to visit Pulina, the coffee plantation in Ubud area. But since it was raining that time of day, and we need to pay Rp 100,000 (SGD 10) for the entrance fee. So, we decided to give it a pass and look a for a cafe to hangout instead.

When we were driving around, my friends in the first car just randomly stop at one little place. I was like, are you sure we gonna stop here? But i was very wrong.. This cafe might look little and ordinary from the outside, but it offers a very cozy ambiance and beautiful view for the guests! And what’s more amazing is they have a giant swing! We were super excited when we saw that! I guess we are just a bunch of kids that trapped in adults body. Hahaha.

Not long after we reached the cafe, the rain slowly stopped. Super yeayyy moment! cause we finally can play the giant swing! Wohhoo!! SO, We asked the waiter on how to ride the swing? Do we have to pay for it as well?

They said only adult can play the giant swing, and no particular rules to follow. the only thing that they asked us is, NOT to release your hand off the ropes. And, as for the fee, the cafe should have charged us Rp 75,000 ( SGD 7,5) for each ride. But the kind-hearted owner gave free rides for all of us as long as we ordered something to drink, which only cost Rp 30,000 – 40,000 per drink. This cafe is super recommended. Just opened for 2 months only, and they have nice drinks and snacks with affordable price.

Anddd, my experience playing with the giant swing is super awesome!! The feeling was like you’re riding some rides in universal studio. Super thrilling yet exciting. And the very first swing was the best feeling ever! It feels so tingling in your stomach and your heart beats so quickly more than ever.. Haha.. But the view up there is so worth it, so beautiful until you dont want to go down. so pretty that you want to go even higher and higher. haha.. I Really love this experience, and want to go for more giant swing now!

Singapore : BOUNCE-ing My Weekend (VLOG)

How was your weekend people?? I hope it’s as awesome as mine! *grin* haha

Last Saturday, me and my friends were discussing on where to go on Sunday. After a short Indonesian chit-chat *a bad habit whereby we stand in the middle of the road, chit-chatting like it’s our grandmothers road and blocking people’s way. haha. * we came up with this two options, Rock-Climbing in Kallang or BOUNCE in Orchard.. and TADAAA.. you should know already from the title on where we finally went to. haha.

Bounce! A brand new fun ‘recreation’ place in Cineleisure Orchard, where we can happily jump in huge trampolines park and raise your adrenaline at the same time. They  also claimed to be the international sensation and one of the world’s best indoor adventure park. #wow

Since we were all very excited, we quickly booked 12 spots for 5pm for the following day. Minimum booking is one hour, with SGD 19/person and additional SGD 3/person for the special grip socks.

Actually it’s kinda expensive to spend 22 dollars just like that. But it was a very fun jumping experience! Not gonna forget about it, and I am NOT lying. *serious face* all my other 11 friends enjoyed it so much too! haha.. It’s just a very fun yet trilling, and enjoyable recreation plus fitness and the same time.

Anddd.. i made a VLOG on this.. Enjoy! ❤

They have minimum age, and maximum weight and some other rules that we need to follow. Visit their website for more info. =)

Would love to go back again to do more proper jumping, and exercising my ‘faith in myself’ in the ninja-warrior section. haha.

Trampolines Park

When you think jumping is an easy thing to do. This park will change your mind. haha. It really requires techniques and a lot of practice to do an at least a proper jump. haha. But dont anyhow jump kayy.. Because Bounce will not be responsible for any of irresponsible jumping or ‘self-made’ injuries.

X-Park (Ninja Warrior)

Trust me, it looks easy.. But it is NOTTT! haha. unless you went for army before.. hahah.. #okeakulebay. haha..

But it is so difficult for me.. It took me forever just to jump from one plank to the other, and fell so many times on the wall climbing area. haishh.. I think must go back to conquer all. hahaha. #ambitious. hahaha.

Dont forget to bring your own shoes (or they can lend you as well) if you want to play in this park.

Universal Studio Japan – Osaka : Day 5

been a while since i posted about our Japan trip.. been busy latelyy.. huu..

since 4 of us like theme park quite a lot.. we decided to go to USJ as well.. it was Friday and we are afraid that USJ will be darn crowded. so we decided to go there earlier.. *dan pas nyampe, ya bener aja dongg.. ruame buanget*

SONY DSC SONY DSCIt is so crowded over there, so we qucikly find the way to Harry Potter Castle, since it’s one of the major reason that we go to USJ. haha.. they limit the amount of people who’s going in to the Harry Potter castle. so we must go to one corner to get our entry ticket first. our entry time is from 12.45-1.45pm.

it was still around 11 by then. so, we quickly find the Biohazard to get another entry ticket. this Oka was really really eager to shoot some dead people. another one major reason that we go to USJ. and just nice that we got the entry ticket for 3.45-4.45 pm.

after getting the 2 entry tix. we walked around to see what we can play before we enter to Harry Potter Castle. since we only have around 1 hr left.. we decided to grab a quick lunch first, which is a Pizza store beside the Spiderman rides.

SONY DSC

The food there is expensive.. i only ordered 1 slice of pizza + soft drink and it cost about 700 Yen? if im not wrong. haha..

after eating, we saw the single rider in Spiderman only took 30 minutes. so we decided to Q for the single riders. *ceritanya mau memanfaatkan waktu sebisa.nya. jadi sendiri2 juga gpp dehh. haha*

Actually i ride this Spidey before in Universal Studio Orlando few years back. it’s the same exact thing.. but it’s still cool tho. for those of you who already ride Transformer in Universal Singapore.. it’s quite the same thing.. just way much cooler i may say. haha.. so basically it’s a 3-D rides where we are the hostage of Doctor Octopus, Electro, Hydro-man and etc, and Spiderman come to the rescue. haha..

after Spidey’s we need to rush back to Harry Potter Castle.. but first, let us take some picture!

SONY DSCSONY DSC

Harry Potter Castle

SONY DSCSONY DSC

Feel so magical, right?? How i love Harry Potter Castle.. haha.. and it feels like you are in the Harry Potter movie.. i grew up with Harry Potter. i watched all the of their movies.. and the feeling when you are in it is like surreal and unbelievable. haha.. *lebay*. The place is so amazing and breathtaking yaa. hehe..  They only have 2 rides if im not mistaken. the 4-D rides and the roller coaster.. since the 4-D rides is the must thing to ride.. then we sacrifice our 2 hrs time to Q.. below are the pictures while we are q-ing. hehe.

SONY DSCIMG-20141003-WA0006IMG-20141003-WA0011i’ve ride this 4-D rides in Orlando too. but the excitement is still there.. i love the feeling when they fly us with the broomsticks and bring us to the quitddich game. And it’s still scary when you face the Dementor and went in to the spiders cave.. it’s just feel so real deh pokok.nya.. the best and the longest 4-D rides ever.. so it’s really worth it for the Q.

after the 4-D rides, we just stroll around for a while, because we need to be in Biohazard soon!

SONY DSCSONY DSC

This game was the scariest game among all.. i think i rather go for 30mins non stop roller coaster. haha..

Biohazard itu sama dengan Resident Evil. Im sure all of us know what resident evil, right.. i love to watch zombie movie like Resident evil and walking dead.. haha. but to put it in real-life.. hmmpp.. makasih deh. hahaha.. its just very daunting.

sumpahh ini game serem banget. haha.. basically they put you into a situation whereby you need to shoot the zombies. they already equip us with a big gun and all we need is to kill the zombies.. they formed us to a group of 8 to enter the rooms. there will be an ‘Umbrella’ office who lead us from room to rooms. so at least we know here are we going. but again, all the instructions are in Japanese.. so we dont even know whats happening.. all we know is just to kill all the zombie.. haha..

*makin lama zombie.nya makin aneh2 lagii.. pertama si zombie2 biasa.. terus masuk ke room yg lain ketemu zombie yg kyk lizard gt.. trus di room yg terakir ktmu nemesis yg guede bngt.. horror deh pokok.nyaa.. haha.. ada 1 room yg ada jendelanya. dan gw berdiri pas bngt d depan jendela itu.. gw pikir. shark man pasti ada yg aneh2 bakal kluar dr jendela ini dehh.. ehh. bener aja dong.. pas bngt pas gw minggir.. ehh ada kepala zombie yg kluarr.. uanjirrr.. kalo gw ga minggir sihh udah bs kecium zombie.. hoekkk.. hauahua..*

they have several rooms inside the place. each room have different zombie. so lets say the first 2 room are just normal zombies. then the 3rd room is the lizard zombie then the last room you will meet the nemesis. it’s just getting scarier and scarier. well. maybe to make it clearer.. you can watch the video below.

*ini game sih super seru sbenernyaa.. cuman yaa super serem juga. hahaha.*

after this mentally exhausting game.. we went to Back to the Future, just another 3D rides.

SONY DSC and Finally i got the chance to ride the Hollywood Dream. It’s a roller coaster that really worth the Q as well. since im a roller coaster junkie. of course this ride is a must ride! haha..

SONY DSCSONY DSC

2010824

*last picture taken from mycars.guru*

We Q-ed for this roller coaster about 2 hrs as well. but it really worth the Q.. this roller coaster considered long, the thrill is there and the best of all, you can play your own music.. yes.. they have 5 songs to choose. and you can listen to the song while you ride and scream on the roller coaster.. haha.. *pokok.nya fun abis dehh* The only thing that made us quite scared is their safety harness. they only have one safety harness around your waist.. normally the safety harness will be on your shoulder right? so you can hold it as well if you are scared.. *yg ini.. kagak ada coyy pengaman yg kyk gt. jadi cuman 1 pengaman di dket perut. haha* but it supersafe.. just that it bothers me a bit, since they have the 360 degree turns. haha..

the most happening thing is.. this roller coaster have a Backdrop ride. so, if you want to experience riding the roller coaster on the other way around. you can re-Q for it. they are still using the same rail, so after 2 times of normal ride.. they will change the track to the other way around. and it’s very veryy fun!! *seru bangett bangett deh pokok.nyaa* it’s a different feeling to ride it backwards.. and a very fun-thrilling feeling to experience the backdrop. for roller-coaster lover, you should ride this when you visit USJ-Osaka.

This backdrop Q takes longer than Hollywood dreams. so we decided to take the single rider that only took about 45minutes only! what i like about universal studio is that they have the single rider Q, so at least we can save some of our time..

since it was already quite late and we were super hungry (only eating 1 slice of that expensive pizza. haha), we decided to go back and try some random ramen along the Dontonburi area.

SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC

The gyoza and ramen was just normal compared to Ichiran.. but it was not bad at all.

They said Osaka is very famous with its Takoyaki, they have a lot of Takoyaki stores along the Dontonburi road.. so, we just grabbed which ever that looks nice to eat. and we decided to buy the Takoyaki from this place..

SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC

The Takoyaki taste is gooddd..just that we already quite full, so we couldnte enjoy the takoyaki to the fullest. =(

and we ended the night with taking pictures with the most well-known ‘Glico’ signboard. they said they just changed the Glico signboard to a woman.. so previously was a guy and they put light on the signboard.. not sure why they changed it to a woman and no more shining lights on it.. but since we are there already.. of course we must take some pictures with their signature pose right. haha.. *ya masa udah sampe sana ga jadi voto gara2 signboardnya ganti jadi cewek. hahaha*

SONY DSC

stay tune.. because tomorrow we are going to Kyotoo!

cheers..

Disneysea Tokyo : Day 2

continue-ing my story..

so, after we spent our 1st day at Shibuya.. we went to Disneysea on the following day..

it was our first encounter with Tokyo trains.. and the trains are just purely complicated.. *yg ga percaya.. ya boleh liat map di bawah ini.. haha

jr-east-map

*picture taken from greggman.com*

kelar bangett ga sihh map.nya?? haha.. liat.nya aja udah jereng ini mata.. haha.

so we already googled on how to go to disneysea from our apartment.. and we already followed the direction from google map. but tadaaa.. we still got lost somewhere in the middle. googlemap said we need to take the train from shibuya to osaki (remain on-board) to shin-kiba and the changed line to maihama station. we thought remain on-board meaning you need to literally remain on-board.. and we were wrong! remaind on-board here means remain in the platform.. so you need to go out from the train and transfer to the other train opposite you.. *tepok jidat banget dehh*

SONY DSC

*where we are still very sure that we took the right train*

SONY DSC

*and tadaa! after that.. we didnt even know where we were.. hahaha..*

from a few wrong turns, finally we learnt that :

– one platform can be used for several trains *jadi 1 jalur kereta.. mungkin aja bisa ada 3 kreta yg lewat yg tujuannya beda2.. jadi lu harus tau bener lu harus ke arah mana and timing here are very very important.. beda semenit aja tuh bisa jadi bukan kereta yg elo mau naikin*

– the train may not be as long as the train platform *jadi bayangkan misalnya platform itu mulai dari nomor 1-10. mungkin kereta elo itu panjangnya cuman dari nomor 1-5.. jadi kalo lu tunggu di tempat yg salahh.. tetep aja lu bisa ketinggalan kereta.nyaa*

pokok.nya rempong poll dehh..

Trust me google map is your very bestfriend in Japan.. you just need to understand a little bit more on how to take the trains and ask people around you if you want to make sure.. hehe.. find those business woman / man. they surely know how to speak english. or at least simple english.

okay.. enough with the tokyo trains.. you must go there to experience it yourself. haha..

and finally we reached Disney! one of the most wonderful place in the world.. *yg setuju angkat tangan!! haha*

we bought the Disney Ticket in Singapore’s Japan travel agent that cost us about 80 SGD. so we dont need to q anymore.

Disney always give me some magical feeling that i live in a ‘happily ever after’ life. *mungkin kebanyakan nonton disney princess jaman dulu kali yee.. hahaha*

IMG-20140930-WA0023

Screen Shot 2014-10-09 at 12.48.49 am

*ada yg bilang gw kyk anak SD dsini. apakah benar? hahaha*

It’s a little different here in Tokyo Disneysea.. somehow i could not feel that magical feeling.. not sure if i already grown up *ciyehh. sok tua yee gw.. haha* or it’s just the place that doesnt spread the magic well. haha.

i feel that the whole place is so dryy.. *kyk kurang sentuhan cinta dari orng2 jepang.nya sendiri*

SONY DSC

SONY DSC

SONY DSC

my friend said maybe we need to wait till evening, so we can feel the ‘magical’ feeling when all the lights is on. so there we were, waiting for the night time to come and see if they can change the ambience. dont get me wrong.. disney sea is a beautiful clean and fun place.. just that i dont feel the touch of Disney’s magic over here. haha.. i dont know how to describe it.. *mudah2an pada ngerti yaa. hahahha*

Many people said that Disneysea is a better place for the adults, because more thrilling rides are there.. and since im quite an adrenaline junkie and love to ride rides a lot.. of course we chose Disneysea than Disneyland.. even though maybe Disneyland will be more dreamy than Disneysea..

we reached Disneysea around 11am. and bought some quick lunch (rice hotdogs) because we dont want to waste our time there eating.. somemore most food there are ridiculously expensive. i think 2 snacks is equal to 1 bowl of ramen. haha.

*jadi sambil bawa makanan.nya, kita lngsung antri ke Tower of Terror. hehe*

we immediately go for Tower of Terror once we bought our ricehotdogs.. we tried to take the fastpass.. but only available at night time.. since we dont want to go back so late. we decided to queue for 1.5 hrs.. =(

SONY DSC

not sure if that Tuesday was their public holiday or what.. all rides require us to queue for at least 1.5 – 2 hrs.. hurr.. but since we are already there.. then we just queue for all the rides that we passed by.

okay. firstly is Tower of Terror. the infamous haunted lift hotel that will drop down out of a sudden. *macem mainan di genting gt yg free fall.. tapi yg ini ga segitu ngeri.nya. haha*

since all storyline and all the instruction are in Japanese.. *sumpaahh ga mudeng.com* i dont feel scared at all. haha.. of course right? haha.. *mau ceritanya sehorror apa.. ya karena ga ngerti ga berasa serem sama sekali. haha*

i think Disney is the same everywhere, they will decorate the place as nice as possible so we can feel the ambiance.

SONY DSC

SONY DSC

well. yg gw mudeng sih yaa.. ceritanya tuh ada 1 om2. macemnya indiana jones ambil 1 boneka gt dari negri antah berantahh.. kyknya bonekanya terkutuk gt.. trus tiba2 pas di dlm lift.. yah lift.nya jadi gelap trus jatoh sendiri aja gt..  dan sampe skrng si om2 itu ga tau lagi dimana keberadaannya..

The ride itself was so fun.. i kinda like the feeling when the thing is about to drop and the tickling feeling in my stomach. haha.. *ya intinya gw suka deh perasaan deg2an sebelum di jatuhin gt.. dan lucu aja gt perasaan geli2 di perutnya. haha.*

owh.. the tipping point where they want to drop us has a very amazing view.. i think everything that we look from far above is always breathtakingly great!  *jadi abis gelap2an gt.. tau2 ada bolongan gt dimana kiat didiem-in sekitar 3 detik dan kita bisa liat view hampir 1 disneysea.. itu yah.. bagus bngt donggg.. mungkin mangkanya bnyk quote2 sering bilang.. jngn liat dr batas kemampuan kamuu.. coba bayangin view dr Tuhan yg atas.. pasti si Babeh udah siapin hal yg indah buat kitaa. hehe*

IMG-20140930-WA0016

*if you see the tall building behind me.. that’s the Tower of Terror. pretty high yaa? haha*

after this.. we directly go to Storm Rider. It’s like a 4D show, if you have been to Shrek 4D show in Singapore, this one is similar to that. just that we need to wear seat belt because the chair is keep moving throughout the rides.

SONY DSC

The story is about a new device that is invented to pass through the storm.. but suddenly a bigger storm is coming, will the device still work in that kind of condition?  *dan ceritanya kita di dlm si device ituu.. mangkanya kursi.nya goyang2 teruss.. haha*

SONY DSC

Finally they gave us an English translation on the screen, so at least we know what the story is about. haha.. so it’s like we are in the device and cutting through the storms. *sayang.nya mnurut gw layarnya ga gede2 amatt.. kalao full screen yg bentuk.nya agak mangkok kan lebih enak yaa liat.nya. hahaha.. banyak mau.nya ye gw. haha*

before we continue to the next rides.. nyemil popcorn dl kitaa.. hehe.. ade gw tertarik bngt tuh gara2 rasanya strawberry. untungnya not bad. hahaha.

SONY DSC

our third ride was Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of Crystal skull

IMG-20140930-WA0015

*sekali lagi.. niat.com yaa disney buat beginiannya. ahhaha.. oh ya btw.. kalo kalian perhatiin, baju gw yg paling tertutup. alias pake stocking dimana yg lainnya cuman pake celana pendek.. pas siang2 sihh biasa aja cuaca.nyaa.. tapi pas malemm.. beuhh.. untung bngt gw pake stocking inii.. dinging anginnya menusuk sukmaa. hahahah*

Indiana Jones was the longest queue ever. we q-ed about 2 hours and 30 mins.. ~.~` and it was not worth the q at all..

 SONY DSC

It was just a normal truck ride that shows us the temple ruins and Indiana Jones adventure with the supernatural crystal skull..

maybe this ride suppose to be more exciting and feel more dangerous IF you understand the language.. but yeahh. too bad.. cant understand a single of it. so we just enjoyed the ride. haha.. i expected more shocking turns, or drop, or back drop, or what so ever since it’s Indiana Jones.. but i think the whole ride is just normal for me..  it’s like only see the nice decoration. haha. *tapi mungkin buat anak2 ini udah seru bngt sihh.. bnyk hal menarik di dlm.nya untuk di liat*

actually i wanted to ride the roller coaster from Indiana Jones as well. but they didnt allow us to go in anymore, since its already quite latee.. so sad.. huuu.

and the next attractions of the day was The Magic Lamp Theatre (Aladdin)

indeed this place is far more beautiful at night.. haha

SONY DSC

SONY DSC

This Aladdin is a 4d show that mix with some magic show. again, if you understand Japanese, this show supposed to be funnier.

SONY DSC

Above room was the showcase room where they will tell you some story first before you proceed to the magic show.. it’s quite interesting i may say. since they really do the live magic show and we get to wear the 3d glasses where we can see Geenie popped out from the screen here and there doing his magic.

and this was our last attractions of the day.. since we were already very tired of q-ing and we were starvinggg.

i managed to get a few night pictures before we left..

SONY DSC

SONY DSC

SONY DSC

SONY DSC

just when i started to like this place.. its a time to go back already.. =( *beneran lebih cantik yahh klo pake lampu2.. lebih berasa magical gimana gt. muhahahaha*

and for the dinner, we decided to try Sukiya, one of the most famous chain restaurant in Japan. it is something like Yoshinoya.

SONY DSC

SONY DSC

SONY DSC
SONY DSC

this is soooo much better than yoshinoyaa..  the beef was tender and juicy and taste gooodd.. and the rice.. well.. nothing can beat japanese rice i think. haha. and the miso soup below.. omaigadddd… it tastes like heavenn. ahhaha.. i can drink the soup only.. *itu slice pork ngambang2 enak bngt. spring onion.nya juga enakk.. semua di miso.nya uennakk pol dehh..*

SONY DSC

very very recommended, and the price is very cheap! only 520 yen (beef bowl) + 120 yen (miso soup) which is less than SGD 10 for both goodness..

ahh.. pengen balik skrng buat makan soup.nya aja.. hahaha.. nighty night!  ❤

Japan Trip

Very excited for the Japan Trip!

me, my brother and 2 of our friends will be going to Japan on 28th September.. *yes, yes, exactly 1 more month to go* woohoo..

actually i never think that Japan will be my next travel destination. since Japan is not that appealing to me, except the Ramen. haha

but since my brother wants to go there so bad for his graduation trip. as a good sister *hoekk*, i decided to accompany him to go. hahaha. then we start to find travel mates for this trip.

after finding our travelmates, it’s research time!

gosh.. suddenly i got huge desire to go to Japan after a few days of research. haha..  not sure if Japan is that good, or it’s just because i need to go for holiday badly. hahaha *mungkin panggilan si ichiran ramen yg merayu2 aku untuk pergi, since it looks very good. haha*

i heard from 2 friends that JTB (Japan Tourist Bureau) is quite good for their flight and hotels package.

so, i came there 1 month ago to compare the price.

going to Japan with ANA air + 8 nights hotel cost us about SGD 1500, which is quite cheap, since ANA itself cost us about SGD 950. so, top up about SGD 550 more and you got quite good accomodation.

i went back and tell them that they offer us a good deal. but we must confirm within 2 days, because left a few seats with ANA. and suddenly 1 of our friend told us that she cannot go on our said date and time, because her colleague already took the leave.. *kalah cepet* hahaha.

so we re-arrange the date and ask JTB again for our desired date (which is only 1 day different). and you know what, they quoted us much much more expensive.. =(

same arrangement with ANA air + 8 nights hotel cost us about SGD 1800. hey, 300 dollars different is quite huge, right?

then we ask the sales girl why they have huge different. then the girl said, SGD 1500 is too cheap. i think my colleague quote you wrongly. gahhh..

since we dont know who is correct or wrong, then we decided to book everything ourself. haha.

after 2 weeks of comparing price, finally we booked following flight and accommodations :

– Delta Airlines : SGD 684.20

Tokyo AirBnb (Shibuya) for 3 nights : SGD 207.25

Hotel Vista Grande Osaka for 2 nights : SGD 194.85

Hotel Almont Kyoto for 1 night : SGD 92

Hotel Tokyo Dome for 2 nights : SGD 247

JR pass : SGD 347 *this is freaking expensive for 7 days train pass, but what to do, they said if we buy individually

– Tokyo Disneysea (1 day pass) : SGD 78

– Universal Studio Japan (1 day pass) : SGD 90

Visa Japan : SGD 39

so, Total per person is SGD 1979.3 / person, which is much more cheaper than buying the package in JTB. some more the SGD 1800 that they offer is a package for 3* hotel and not including the JR pass and the amusement park tickets. =(

actually we can go cheaper for the accomodations, but some airbnb apartment that we like is already full or have minimum nights for booking. so, we just go ahead with the hotels.

after all the booking, it’s time to make itinerary.. *yeay.. hehehe.

we already have some rough itinerary, but still not fixed yet.

if you have any great place to go in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Please let me know ?

Thank you before.. =)

Sentosa : Adventure Cove Waterpark

Minggu lalu, gw sama beberapa temen gw pergi ke Adventure Cove Waterpark yg ada di Resort World Sentosa..

Sentosa lg happening bngt sekarang buat turis2..

Bermula dari Casino, Universal Studio, S.E.A Aquarium ( yg katanya world’s largest aquarium *bukan luas tempat.nya loh yaa* ) sampe ada si Adventure Cove Waterpark ini.

Sebenernya si Adventure Cove ini kyk waterboom gt.. disana cuman main air aja.. ga ada kolam yg bener2 buat berenang.. harga masuk.nya ituh SGD 36.

pertama kali kita masuk.. voto2 dulu dong yahh.. hehe..

nah.. abis masuk ke waterpark ini.. udah bnyk loker buat taro belongings kita..

system.nya pake komputer gt.. whereby nanti systemnya yg pilihin loker kita dimana..

trus system.nya minta duid dulu sebelum dia tunjukin loker.nya.

dan ternyata mahal juga lohh.. harus bayar SGD 20 buat bayar loker.nya.. *faint.. daylight robbery*

untung loker.nya lumayan gede, jadi kita pesen 1 loker aja buat taro tas kiat ber6..

1. Adventure River a.k.a Kolam Arus

Ketiga, mrk taro aquarium full of stingray di samping kolam arus.nya..

jadi sambil main air, kita bs berenti dan liat2 stingray dr berbagai jenis dan ukuran.. dan bisa liatin mrk kubur diri mrk di pasir..*ga tau juga buat apa dia kubur diri dia.. haha.. kyknya sih buat perlindungan diri gt yahh.. hehe*

2. Rainbow-Reef

soalnya.. dia ajarin orng2.nya dl gt gmn cara pake alat snorkle.nya and some safety tips..

pas di kasih alat snorkle.nya, gw agak geli gt.. kan bekas di pake ga tau berapa juta umat kann..

jadi gw tanya si abang.nya.

Me : do you clean this all the time ?

Him : Yes ma’am.. not to worries, with disinfectant and *apaa gt lupa* for every use.

yaudahlah yah, lega dikit.. walopun gw juga ga tau gimana cara dia cuci.nya. haha..

kalo di tanya bagus apa nggak sih, jawaban gw lumayand bagus. haha..

well. jngn bandingin sama open sea yah.. itu udah beda..

ini kan buatan gt soalnya..

lumayand bagus dan lumayan niat  bngt si buat.nya..

terus dia bnyk taro lifeguard gt di pinggir2.nya.. buat jaga2 klo ada yg lose their breath.

sayang bngt gw ga ada camera underwater.. =(

*keep wanting to have 1.. but the good one is freaking expensive.. so yeah.. if anyone of you knows a good underwater camera with a good value, please kindly let me know.. hehe*

3.Riptide Rocket

This is the ‘must ride’ slides.

ini slides yang paling beda dari biasa.nyaa.. kenapa??

karena.. ini slides roller coaster..

yes… roller coaster on water.. can you imagine?? hahaha..

seru bngt.. jadi dia tetep pake float (ban yg bisa di dudukin 2 orang ) gt..

yg lebih berat harus duduk di depan.. *ga tau kenapa*

abis semua duduk. nanti dia tarik float kita ke atas.. gw pikir mah biasa aja..

paling di tarik sampe atas terus di release doang..

ternyata nggak.. abis di release kyk prosotan biasa..

ehh.. tau2.nyaa dia bisa naik lagii..

gila dehh.. seru abiss..

ternyata dia pake technology yg namanya ‘hydro-magnetic’ gt..

gw juga terheran2.. gimana caranya dia bisa bikin kyk gt..

sumpahh.. this is the must try slide if you are visiting adventure cove. hehe..

this rides can really raise your adrenaline. haha..

4. Spiral Washout

*picture taken from rwsentosa.com*

Ini slides biasa sihh.. tapi ada sensasi seru.nya aja gt.. kyk lu masuk ke dalam corong.. hahaha.

5. Whirpool Washout

*picture taken from rwsentosa.com*

jadi naik slides.nya terbalik gt. hahahaha.. *funny horror felling when it turned around*

jangan pulang terlalu sore..

soalnya kamar mandi.nya bakalan penuh bngt.. and you have to queue to bath..

Sentosa – Megazip Adventure Park

What is Adrenaline Rush?

They said it is a state whereby your body produces some chemical in moment of fear or excitement..

and this chemical (read:adrenaline rush) can make you do things that is beyond normal. ex: running faster than normal or being braver than ever.

I love to raise up my adrenaline every now and then.. *in a responsible way of course*

I love to ride roller coaster, or went in to haunted house, or as simple as talking to some handsome guy across the street. hahaha.. *okay. the last one is a joke*

I do think it is important to pump up your adrenaline, because it just makes you feel ALIVE.

It’s the time whereby most of the oxygen travels to your brain, and somehow you feel freshened and lively all of a sudden.

Last week.. Me, Bern and 9 of our friends went to Sentosa to raise up some adrenaline.. haha.

*yeah, i know.. sentosa lagi.. sentosa lagi.. baru juga pergi di minggu sebelumnya.. hehe*

So, in the other part of Sentosa Island.. there’s something like an outbound park called Megazip Adventure Park.

If you are taking the monorail from Vivocity, you should stop in Imbiah Station and just follow the way up, take the escalators, pass through the jungle..  hike a little bit more.. and voila! you’ll reach the adventure park. *yess.. this place is freakin far from the monorail.. but distance means so little when you walk with your loved ones! so, please do not walk alone. haha.. gombal.com dehhh..*

 the jungle selfie

the hiking selfie

They have 4 challenging activities that you can choose,

– Climbmax : it’s like a normal outbound, but i think it’s very hard.. whereby there’s huge trees, ropes, some wood-logs,  and they made 24 obstacles out of it..

– Northface : basically its a rock climbing

– Parajump : freefall from about 4 storey tall. They said it simulate parachute landing

– Megazip : flying fox

They have their own pricing for individual activities,

but you can mix and match activities if you want too.

so, to make things easier.. they have made the pricing table for you.

so, some of us took the Kangaroo package and some others took Chimpanzee package.

right after we purchased our ticket,

we need to sit down to be briefed by their crew.

you are not allowed to bring backpack or totebags.. only small sling bag allowed.

and all valuables will be put aside in one bag which you can bring along with you later on.

okay, the first thing to do was weight yourself ! haha

i know.. its very embarrassing for some of the girls. but it’s for safety reasons.. so, you cannot skip this out.

 after they weighed our weight.

we proceed to the ‘Buckle up’ ground *actually i dont know what to call that place.. haha*

so, in this place, they will put the safety harness around you..

they have 2-3 types of safety harness according to your weight. most of the girls normally will get the yellow colored ones.

okayy.. now, we are ready to hit the park !

First ‘Adrenaline’ stop was the Parajump – the ‘free fall’ from 4th storeys *well.. the poster said we gonna jump from the 5th storey, but idk it’s that high.. so 4th storey it is. hehe*

we already did ‘eenie meenie mainey moo’ aka cap-cip-cup in bahasa..

and Cindy is very first one to jump, followed by others, me in the second last, and Manda for our lucky last.

before you jump, they will ask you to turn your back and attached a ballast *pemberat* to your back.

The ballast holds a bit of your gravity, so we will turn into pieces after we jumped down.

if you see from below pictures, maybe it doesnt seems so high.

the dangling wooden block with all the ropes are the Climbmax – which we did not take

Buttt.. Let me tell you the feeling when you are on the tip of the ledge.

the feeling was much complicated than the nano nano sweets *i think only indonesian understand this. huahua*

my heart beats faster, my hands turn cold, i cannot breath properly.. i can feel all the symptoms of the adrenaline rush.

i want to show you the video that Cindy took for me.

but the video goes upside down, and i dont know how to rotate a video.. haha

please see at my Instagram @jendluvu if you would like to see.

again.. it seems slow..

but it really takes tons of courage to step out from the ledge.

*rasanya pas mau lompat itu.. aduhh.. pengen lngsung pipis gt. hahaha*

but we all made it.. hehe..

and we all agreed that the scariest part was when we step our leg out from the ledge.

the rest of the process is just normal. haha..

*many experience falling after they touches the ground.. because they still cant balance themselves.. well.. including me. hahaha*

Secondly is the Northface aka Rock Climbing  for the Chimpanzee team.

But first, let me take a selfie! *chainsmokers effect*

 The Chimpanzee Team

The Kangaroo Team

The Chimpanzee team waited for quite awhile, because the rock climbing can only accommodate 3 players.

You can try to climb for 20 mins.. if you still cannot reach the top to ring the bell, then the guards will stop you and let the others to take the their turn.

got this 2 taiwan couple tried to climb up for the umpteenth times.. but they cant even pass the red lines.

i think their hands are too tired already..

and finally, it’s Bern’s time to climb..

the guard will ask you to climb a bit and go down again, only to test ropes that will bring you down.

and you know what??

Bern succeeded to reach the top and rang the bell..!! woohoo.. *proud girlfriend* muahahahha,, *lebay.com*

he said he unlocked one of his life achievements. hahaha.. *sama lebay.nya* hahaha.

anyway.. Dedi was very funny. he stuck in the middle with this position. haahha. *im sorry dedi*

and finally, our last game of the day..

 The Megazip aka flying fox.

This flying fox is 450 meters long and 72 meters above the sea level.

too bad i dont have any Go-Pro camera to record a video.. =((

i only have below pictures for you to see..

yes.. we are sliding from one Island to another Island!!

Me and Niko getting started

compared to Parajump, this one is scarier, because they will hang you first and nothing to seat in. after that, they will just released you all of a sudden, and your body can just turn back and front anytime.

i faced the front side at first, but halfway down the road i turned around and facing the canopy jungle.

but i love this ride the most.. because you can feel the adrenaline rush longer and whiz and breeze over the canopy jungle and siloso beach.

oh ya.. you can do tandem as well if you like.. or if you are a little bit afraid to go alone..

but i think they have maximum weight to go..

another funny thing also happened here..

2 of my friends (lets say C &D).. they went tandem for this rides, because one of them afraid to go alone.

then suddenly.. they stucked at the middle! hahaha..

they are fine.. no injuries.. no faulties.. we assume they are just a little bit too heavy. haha.

so the guard came along and pull them to the other side of the island.

so, my suggestion is.. just go solo and enjoy the ride yourself.. haha..

overall it was a very very great experience.

I recommend you to go at least once in your lifetime, and just feel the adrenaline rush that travels within your body..

this makes me wants to go for skydive or bungee jump..

but i dont know if my heart can take it or not. haha..

My last memorable ‘feeling’ was X2 roller coaster in LA’s six flags : magic mountain. *it was the craziest roller coaster that i have ever ride*

and i think those skydive and bungee jump is a new whole level of raising up your adrenaline. haha..

*ngebayanginnya aja udah super deg2an*

so, please do share with me if you have did those crazy things before.. i would love to hear your magnificent stories.. hehe..
