Two weeks ago i was just back from the most impromptu trip ever. One of my friend was just resigned from her job. And will be going in to the new office, only few days after that. Since she just have few days to relax, she randomly asked me if i want to go to Bangkok. And without hesitating, i answered, Yes! Haha
We booked the air-tickets less than 24 hours, and tried to psycho some other friend as well to go with us.
And guess what.. Within the next 48 hours, We convinced 2 other people to go. Haha. All planning and booking was less in a week time. Guess impromptu trip is the best sometimes. Less planning time, so less headache and guaranteed that everyone will be flying.
We took the afternoon flight to Bangkok, and decided to grab some dinner nearby the hotel and go to Lebua State Tower to have some drinks. From our small hotel in Pratunam area, near Baiyoke Hotel, it took us about 15 mins and cost about 200 THB (SGD 8 or IDR 77.000) by Taxi. Scirocco Bar in Lebua State Tower is the 2nd hippest bar in Bangkok. Where the third is Octave Rooftop Bar at Marriott 57 Hotel And the first must visit bar is Vertigo & Moon Bar at Banyan Tree hotel.
Since ‘Hangover 2’ the movie did their shooting over there, and since it seems very famous among tourist and bloggers, we thought why not pay them a visit.
And Indeed, it is the most beautiful bar that i have been to. They have the best city view ever from the 64th floor.
The price is rather high compared to Thailand street food and restaurants. It’s price is almost the same as Singapore’s bar. Four of us spent about 1200 THB (SGD 47 or IDR 460.000) for 1 Mojitos, 2 Martinis and 1 beer.
Some of the staffs are friendly and some are not. So dont be surprised if they keep asking you on what to order. Also, each of us must at least order a drink.
As for the dresscode, smart-casual attire will do. Just dont wear slippers.. 🙂

Asia2.nya sih well dressed.. Tapi kalo bule2 gt ga terlalu sih. Kyk pake crop top2 gt sama pake kulot sama flats atau gladiator yg tinggi. Nggak kok mba. Adem2 ajaa. Dan anginnya juga ga terlalu heboh waktu itu.. Pas weathernyaa. Hehe
